Technology

Propane makes sense. Today there are over 10 million propane-powered vehicles worldwide and the number is growing.

While there are propane fuelled vehicles available from the major automobile manufacturers (Ford, GM, Toyota) in Europe and Asia the majority of propane vehicles are aftermarket conversions. Modern fuel injection conversion technology makes propane a viable alternative to gasoline and operation on propane is both seamless and reliable.

In North America, the major automotive manufacturers do not offer propane powered vehicles and all propane vehicles currently are aftermarket conversions. Gasoline engines can easily be converted to operate on propane and the cost of conversion can be recovered through fuel costs savings, in just one year.
